Overview

BIO104 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Boostimmune for the treatment of solid tumors, specifically targeting liver cancer and uterine cancer. The drug is designed to target a rapidly internalizing membrane protein that is induced by the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. By targeting this specific membrane protein, BIO104 enables the selective delivery of a cytotoxic payload to eliminate tumor cells with abnormally activated Wnt/β-catenin signaling, a pathway that is frequently mutated and activated in various cancers but has historically been considered "undruggable". In preclinical studies, BIO104 has demonstrated significant efficacy and safety in patient-derived xenograft (PDX) mouse models of liver and uterine cancers harboring mutations in the Wnt/β-catenin pathway.
