Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bioarginine is a dietary supplement formulation containing L-arginine as its primary active ingredient. It is available in various oral forms such as vials and capsules. L-Arginine is a semi-essential amino acid involved in protein synthesis and numerous metabolic pathways, including the production of nitric oxide—a key mediator of vasodilation and blood flow. Supplementation with L-arginine has been associated with immunomodulatory effects (enhancing immune function), stimulation of endocrine functions (notably growth hormone release), improvement in spermatogenesis and sperm motility, support for cardiovascular health through improved vasodilation and endothelial function, muscle recovery (as a precursor to creatine), ammonia detoxification via the urea cycle, collagen synthesis, calcium absorption by osteoblasts, and general tonic effects useful during fatigue or increased physical demand[3][4][7][9]. Some formulations also include vitamin C for additional antioxidant support[1]. The product is marketed primarily as a food supplement rather than a pharmaceutical drug.
