Overview

BioCopy Program 5 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody being developed by BioCopy for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). As a T-cell receptor mimic (TCRm) antibody, it is engineered to recognize and bind a specific peptide-HLA-A1 (pHLA-A1) complex, which consists of an intracellular tumor-derived peptide presented on the cell surface by the HLA-A1 molecule. This mechanism enables the selective targeting of cancer cells that present these historically 'undruggable' intracellular antigens, which are typically inaccessible to conventional antibodies that only recognize surface proteins. The program was identified and developed using BioCopy's AI-driven ValidaTe platform and is currently in the discovery phase of development.
