Biocurcumax

Biocurcumax (also known as BCM-95 or Curcugreen) is a proprietary, high-bioavailability turmeric extract developed by Arjuna Natural Extracts Ltd. It is composed of 95% curcuminoids complexed with turmeric essential oils, specifically standardized to 45% ar-turmerone, which enhances the absorption of curcumin by approximately seven-fold compared to standard extracts. Curcumin, the primary bioactive component, exerts therapeutic effects by modulating multiple signaling pathways, including the inhibition of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX), as well as reducing levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-alpha and IL-6. Biocurcumax has been clinically evaluated for a variety of conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, major depressive disorder, and as an adjunct treatment for malaria.
