Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BioD Restore is a cryopreserved, morselized amniotic tissue allograft derived from the human placenta. It is designed for use in the repair, reconstruction, or replacement of damaged or inadequate soft tissue. The product contains a complex array of extracellular matrix proteins, growth factors, and cytokines naturally found in amniotic tissue, which are thought to modulate inflammation, reduce scar tissue formation, and promote healing. In clinical research, it has been investigated for intra-articular injection in conditions such as shoulder osteoarthritis and adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) to improve pain and function. The product is processed using proprietary methods to preserve the biological properties of the tissue while ensuring safety for clinical use.
