Overview
Biodefence Antidote #2 is a polyclonal antibody therapeutic being developed by Fabentech for the treatment of poisoning caused by a specific, undisclosed plant toxin. Developed using the proprietary FabShield® platform, the drug consists of highly purified F(ab')2 fragments. These fragments are designed to bind and neutralize the target plant toxin in the systemic circulation, preventing it from interacting with its biological targets and facilitating its clearance. This asset is part of a broader biodefence portfolio aimed at addressing biological threats and is currently in the proof-of-concept stage of development.
