Biodefence Antidote (Plant Toxin)

Fabentech's Biodefence Antidotes (#1, #2, and #3) are polyclonal antibody-based therapeutics developed to treat poisoning from specific plant-based toxins identified as biological threats. These antidotes are produced using the proprietary FabShield® platform, which generates highly purified equine F(ab')2 fragments. These fragments are designed to provide rapid passive immunity by binding to and neutralizing toxins in the systemic circulation, thereby preventing their toxic effects on cellular targets. While the exact identities of the plant toxins are not publicly disclosed for security reasons, the development of these candidates is currently in the proof-of-concept stage.
