Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BioIncyte PRFM is a next-generation autologous platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) system developed by Royal Biologics. Commercially launched in February 2023, the system is a medical device that utilizes a single-spin, closed-loop centrifuge process to convert a patient's own blood into an ultra-pure PRFM, specifically designed to eliminate red and white blood cell contamination. The resulting biologic consists of platelets and growth factors embedded within a fibrin matrix scaffold, which facilitates a sustained-release environment. This allows for the prolonged release of growth factors, stem cell migration, and regenerative signaling at the injection site over several days, significantly exceeding the duration of traditional platelet-rich plasma (PRP). It is primarily utilized in orthopedic, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, and aesthetic applications.
