Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BioLab Membrane Wrap Lite is a human-derived, single-layer amniotic membrane allograft designed for the treatment of complex and chronic wounds. Developed by **BioLab Sciences**, this biological scaffold is processed to maintain the structural integrity of the amniotic basement membrane and its associated extracellular matrix (ECM). The ECM is naturally rich in essential proteins, cytokines, and endogenous growth factors that facilitate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and promote cell migration and proliferation. The "Lite" designation specifically identifies this as a single-layer configuration, distinguishing it from the multi-layered Tri-Membrane version. It is primarily utilized as an adjunct to standard wound care therapies for hard-to-heal indications such as diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) and venous leg ulcers (VLUs).
