Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BioLab Tri-Membrane Wrap is a tri-layer amniotic membrane graft designed for the treatment of complex and hard-to-heal wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) and venous leg ulcers (VLU). Developed by BioLab Sciences, the product is derived from human placental tissue and processed to maintain the structural integrity and biological activity of the amniotic membrane. The "tri-membrane" configuration provides a thicker biological scaffold compared to single-layer versions, offering an enhanced environment of extracellular matrix proteins, growth factors, and cytokines that facilitate cellular migration, proliferation, and tissue regeneration. It is typically applied topically to the wound site as an adjunct to standard of care to accelerate healing and closure.
