Biolen CP-002

Biolen CP-002 is a localized, sustained-release drug-eluting seed implant being developed by RegCell for the treatment of prostate cancer. The therapeutic consists of an androgen receptor (AR) antagonist formulated into a small, non-radioactive seed designed for interstitial implantation directly into the prostate gland. This site-specific delivery system is intended to provide high local concentrations of the anti-androgen to inhibit tumor growth while minimizing the systemic side effects typically associated with conventional oral androgen deprivation therapy (ADT). Biolen CP-002 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, often positioned within the context of radiation oncology or as a localized alternative to traditional brachytherapy.
