Overview
Biologic A is a diagnostic biologic MRI contrast ligand under development by ExQor Technologies for the detection and monitoring of Alzheimer's disease. It is designed to cross the blood-brain barrier non-invasively using ExQor's patented bio-nanotransport platform and accumulate in brain regions affected by Alzheimer's disease. By highlighting areas of impaired neurogenesis, synaptic loss, and cognitive decline on conventional MRI systems, Biologic A serves as a non-invasive diagnostic and companion diagnostic tool without requiring PET isotopes or invasive procedures. It is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
