Overview
Biolosion is a compound probiotic preparation developed by Guangzhou Biolosion Biotechnology, currently being evaluated in Phase II clinical trials as an adjunctive therapy for advanced urothelial carcinoma and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). As a live biotherapeutic product (LBP), it is designed to modulate the gut microbiome, which plays a critical role in regulating systemic immune responses and influencing the efficacy of oncology treatments like immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The goal of Biolosion administration is to optimize the intestinal microbial environment to improve patient outcomes, increase response rates to standard-of-care therapies, and potentially reduce treatment-related toxicities.
