Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BION-202 is a first-in-class therapeutic antibody developed by Biond Biologics that functions as a macrophage activator to enhance phagocytosis, with the aim of boosting innate anti-tumor immunity in cancer patients.[7][11] Designed to target immuno-oncology pathways distinct from classical T cell–centric checkpoint inhibitors, BION-202 is intended for the treatment of neoplasms, and is being advanced from preclinical development toward early-stage clinical trials as part of Biond’s immuno-oncology pipeline.[5][7][11]
