Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BioREtain Amnion Chorion (BR-AC) is a placental-derived product used for wound care, particularly in treating diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers. It is processed using BioStem's proprietary BioREtain method, which preserves the natural components of the amniotic tissue, including growth factors and extracellular matrix, to support wound healing. The product is a type of allograft, made from the amnion and chorion layers of the placenta, and is applied topically to aid in wound closure.
