BIOS2210

BIOS2210 is a novel small molecule multi-target ligand developed by Hangzhou Baicheng Pharmaceutical Technology (Bio-Sincere) for the treatment of schizophrenia and depression. It is designed to act as a partial agonist at the dopamine D2 receptor and the serotonin 5-HT1A receptor, while functioning as an antagonist at the serotonin 5-HT2A receptor. This pharmacological profile aims to provide robust antipsychotic and antidepressant effects with a reduced risk of extrapyramidal side effects and metabolic complications compared to older antipsychotics. BIOS2210 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers and patients with schizophrenia.
