Overview

BioTTT001 is a recombinant oncolytic adenovirus 5 (Ad5) encoding non-secreting interleukin-12 (nsIL-12). Upon administration, it specifically infects and replicates in tumor cells, leading to viral-mediated tumor cell lysis. The released virus particles can then infect neighboring tumor cells, amplifying the antitumor effect. The encoded nsIL-12 acts as an agonist to stimulate immune responses within the tumor microenvironment. BioTTT001 is being developed primarily for the treatment of recurrent or progressive high-grade glioma and other malignant solid tumors. It is currently under clinical investigation in Phase 1/2 trials in China[1][2][3][8].
