Overview
Biqi Capsule is a proprietary Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Tianjin Darentang Group. It is widely used in China for the treatment of various musculoskeletal disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and soft tissue injuries. The formula consists of ten ingredients, with processed *Strychnos nux-vomica* as the principal component, supported by herbs such as *Astragalus membranaceus* and *Salvia miltiorrhiza*. Its pharmacological actions include anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and microcirculation-improving effects, primarily through the inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-α and IL-6. Clinical studies have also highlighted its potential for bone protection and the reduction of bone marrow edema in joint diseases.
