Overview
Biropepimut-S is an investigational peptide cancer vaccine composed of engineered peptides derived from the human melanoma antigen A3 (MAGE-A3), a tumor-associated antigen overexpressed in various cancers and linked to poor prognosis. The vaccine is designed to enhance cellular uptake, resist degradation, and present intact antigen epitopes to the immune system, thereby generating robust B-cell and T-cell responses against MAGE-A3-expressing tumor cells. Its primary indication is for the prevention of recurrence in high-risk squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. Biropepimut-S is being developed by Gliknik[1][2][3][7].
