BITR2101 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Boston Immune Technologies and Therapeutics (BITT) that targets tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 (TNFR2), a member of the TNF receptor superfamily. TNFR2 is highly expressed on certain tumor cells and immunosuppressive cells in the tumor microenvironment, such as regulatory T cells (Tregs) and myeloid-derived suppressor cells. By antagonizing TNFR2, BITR2101 aims to disrupt immune suppression within tumors and enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is being investigated primarily for the treatment of cancers including non-Hodgkin lymphoma, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), and peripheral T-cell lymphoma. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate its efficacy both as a single agent and in combination with other immunotherapies like tislelizumab[3][4][5][6][7].
