BITT-CD4F10

BITT-CD4F10 is a monoclonal antibody antagonist targeting CD40 (tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 5), developed by Boston Immune Technologies and Therapeutics (BITT) using their proprietary DOMab platform. Unlike traditional CD40 antibodies that often act as agonists to stimulate immune responses in oncology, BITT-CD4F10 is designed as a potent inhibitor for use in autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. The DOMab platform utilizes unique surface stabilization of anti-parallel dimers to alter intracellular signaling; for CD40, this antagonism is intended to block the pro-inflammatory CD40-CD154 interaction. The drug is currently in preclinical development, with potential applications in Crohn's disease, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, and systemic lupus erythematosus.
