Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Inventprise's bivalent SARS-CoV-2 conjugate vaccine is a clinical-stage vaccine designed to provide broad and durable protection against evolving COVID-19 variants. It utilizes protein-protein conjugation technology, linking SARS-CoV-2 Beta and Delta strain spike proteins to a detoxified diphtheria-derived carrier protein (rCRM197) and incorporating Toll-Like Receptor (TLR) agonist adjuvants. This approach aims to stimulate both humoral (antibody-mediated) and cellular (T-cell) immunity, offering a potentially longer-lasting immune response compared to some mRNA vaccines. Preclinical study results, published in April 2025, demonstrated its ability to elicit robust immune responses.
