**Bivalent thermostabilized filovirus vaccine** is an investigational prophylactic **protein subunit vaccine** being developed primarily by **Soligenix** in collaboration with the **University of Hawai'i at Manoa** for prevention of disease caused by **Sudan ebolavirus** and **Marburg marburgvirus**. The candidate consists of **recombinant viral glycoprotein antigens** from both pathogens formulated in a **single-vial, lyophilized thermostable presentation** with the **CoVaccine HT** oil-in-water nanoemulsion adjuvant, allowing reconstitution with water before use and aiming to reduce cold-chain dependence. Its intended mechanism is to present filovirus surface glycoproteins to the immune system and induce protective humoral and cellular immune responses, including neutralizing and binding antibodies against the viral glycoproteins. Publicly described work remains **preclinical**, with nonhuman primate studies reporting protection against lethal Sudan ebolavirus and Marburg virus challenge.
