Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Biyoderm is a biological wound dressing developed by Ars Arthro, primarily composed of bovine-derived Type I collagen. It functions as an acellular dermal matrix or scaffold that facilitates tissue regeneration by providing a structural framework for cell migration, adhesion, and proliferation. It is indicated for the management of various wound types, including chronic wounds (such as diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers), partial and full-thickness wounds, and surgical sites. By mimicking the natural extracellular matrix, Biyoderm supports the body's healing processes and promotes the formation of new granulation tissue. It is CE marked and marketed for use in regenerative medicine and wound care.
