Biyunsha Yiganling Granules

Biyunsha Yiganling Granules (also known as Biyunsha Yigan Granules or 碧云砂乙肝颗粒) is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed by the Xi'an Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and manufactured by Xian Zhengda Pharmaceutical. It is formulated as oral granules and is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic hepatitis, hepatitis B, early-stage liver cirrhosis, and hepatosplenomegaly. The formulation is composed of multiple herbal ingredients, including *Hedyotis diffusa* (白花蛇舌草), *Rubia cordifolia* (茜草), *Isatis tinctoria* (板蓝根), *Reynoutria japonica* (虎杖), Indigo Naturalis (青黛), green tea (绿茶), *Lithospermum erythrorhizon* (紫草), *Smilax glabra* (土茯苓), *Citrus medica* var. *sarcodactylis* (佛手), *Crataegus pinnatifida* (山楂), *Galli Gigeriae Endothelium Corneum* (鸡内金), silkworm excrement (蚕砂), *Salvia miltiorrhiza* (丹参), *Paris polyphylla* (重楼), *Ganoderma lucidum* (灵芝), *Ophiopogon japonicus* (麦冬), *Schisandra chinensis* (五味子), *Paeonia lactiflora* (白芍), and alum (白矾). It functions by clearing heat, detoxifying, regulating qi, promoting blood circulation, and strengthening the spleen.
