Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BJ007 is a subcutaneous formulation of a recombinant humanized anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody, developed by Shanghai Bao Pharmaceuticals as a biosimilar to trastuzumab. It targets the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) and is primarily being developed for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. The subcutaneous administration route is designed to improve patient convenience and reduce the clinical burden compared to traditional intravenous formulations. By utilizing a specialized delivery technology, BJ007 allows for rapid administration of high-volume biologics into the subcutaneous space. It is currently in Phase 2 clinical development.
