BK002

**BK002** is an oral, fixed-dose synbiotic medical-nutrition product developed by BiOkuris for dietary management of **irritable bowel syndrome**, including constipation-predominant, diarrhea-predominant, and mixed-subtype disease. The formulation combines fungal chitin-glucan, *Lactobacillus acidophilus* NCFM, and vitamin D3. It is intended to support microbiota balance and intestinal-barrier function and to reduce gastrointestinal symptoms through a gut-brain-axis-oriented, multi-component approach. BiOkuris reported positive results from its 14-week randomized Vitabiotic study and has described BK002 as ready for licensing and distribution; it is not presented as an approved pharmaceutical medicine.
