BK1304 is an intranasal influenza vaccine candidate developed by the Research Foundation for Microbial Diseases of Osaka University (BIKEN). It is designed to provide protection against influenza through mucosal administration, which can induce both local mucosal IgA and systemic IgG immune responses. The pediatric formulation is currently in Phase 2 clinical development in Japan (jRCT2031200156), while the adult formulation has progressed to Phase 3 (jRCT2080224074).
