**BK1803** is an investigational pediatric hexavalent combination vaccine developed by Tanabe Pharma for prevention of diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, poliomyelitis, *Haemophilus influenzae* type b infection, and hepatitis B. It contains vaccine antigens directed against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, inactivated poliovirus, Hib, and hepatitis B, with the intended mechanism of inducing protective active immunity to each pathogen or toxin. BK1803 is being evaluated in a Phase 3 randomized, observer-blinded trial in healthy Japanese infants, using GOBIK plus Bimmugen as the active-control vaccination regimen.
