Overview

BL-1210 is an investigational pharmaceutical drug candidate from BioLineRx being developed for the treatment of liver fibrosis, with a particular focus on non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). It emerged from a collaboration and in-licensing arrangement in which BioLineRx obtained rights to a preclinical liver fibrosis project intended as an anti-fibrotic therapy for chronic liver disease.[1] Detailed information on its molecular modality, biological target, and precise mechanism of action has not been publicly disclosed, but it is positioned as a targeted anti-fibrotic agent rather than a general anti-inflammatory or metabolic drug.
