Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BL-M07D1 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2/ERBB2). It consists of a monoclonal antibody based on trastuzumab, engineered to bind HER2-expressing tumor cells. Upon binding, the ADC is internalized by cancer cells and releases a cytotoxic payload that induces genotoxic stress and cell death. The drug also mediates anti-proliferative effects through HER2 inhibition and can engage innate immune effector functions via its Fc region. BL-M07D1 is being developed for the treatment of various HER2-positive or low-expressing solid tumors, including breast cancer, gastric cancer, gynecological cancers, non-small cell lung cancer, and other solid tumors[1][2][4][5].
