Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BL-M17D1 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). It is designed with a novel linker and payload technology to deliver cytotoxic agents directly to HER2-expressing tumor cells. The drug is being developed for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors, including HER2-positive and HER2-negative breast cancer, colorectal cancer, esophageal carcinoma, gastrointestinal cancers, pancreatic cancer, stomach cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and transitional cell carcinoma. The mechanism of action involves binding to HER2 on tumor cells followed by internalization and release of the cytotoxic payload within the cell. Clinical development is led by SystImmune in collaboration with Sichuan Baili Pharmaceutical.
