BladderCell is a regenerative medicine platform developed by Leonhardt Ventures (through its subsidiary BladderCell) for the treatment of bladder dysfunction and urinary incontinence. The therapy utilizes a combination of bioelectric stimulation and a multi-component biologic composition known as BC-15. The BC-15 composition includes hypoxia-treated and klotho-expressing genetically modified mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), adipose tissue-derived stromal fraction, endothelial progenitor cells, and immature myoblasts, alongside exosomes, growth factors, and a nutrient hydrogel. The platform employs patented bioelectric signal sequences to regulate stem cell homing by upregulating the expression of SDF1 and PDGF, promoting angiogenesis, and facilitating the regeneration of bladder muscle and nerve tissue.
