Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Blepha Soft is a sterile medical device developed by Pharma Stulln, specifically designed as single-use wipes for the daily hygiene of the eyelids and eyelashes. It is primarily indicated for the management of blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), and pre- or post-operative eye care. The wipes function through mechanical debridement, effectively removing crusts, scales, and lipid secretions from the eyelid margins that can harbor bacteria or mites. The solution impregnated in the wipes often contains soothing and moisturizing ingredients such as sodium hyaluronate and capryloyl glycine, which help to maintain the skin's natural barrier and reduce irritation without the need for rinsing. By facilitating regular eyelid hygiene, Blepha Soft helps alleviate symptoms like itching, redness, and the sensation of foreign bodies in the eye.
