**Bletilla striata polysaccharides** (BSP) are high-molecular-weight glucomannan polysaccharides extracted from the tubers of *Bletilla striata*, an orchid species with a long history of medicinal use in traditional Chinese medicine[1][6]. The principal chemical composition is mannose and glucose in a typical ratio ranging from approximately 2.4:1 to 4:1, with some species also containing small amounts of galactose[2][3].
