BLI801

**BLI801** is an investigational oral osmotic laxative developed by Braintree Laboratories for constipation. It is a reformulated sulfate-salt solution containing sodium sulfate and potassium sulfate. Poorly absorbed sulfate ions retain water in the intestinal lumen, softening stool and increasing bowel motility and evacuation. BLI801 was evaluated in completed Phase 2 and Phase 2/3 clinical studies in adults with chronic idiopathic constipation and non-idiopathic constipation, including medication-associated constipation; no marketed brand or regulatory approval for BLI801 was identified.
