The formulation primarily contains polyethylene glycol 400 (0.4%) as a lubricant and humectant, which works by stabilizing the tear film and reducing ocular surface friction. It also incorporates sodium hyaluronate, a viscoelastic polymer that mimics the natural mucin layer of the eye to enhance moisture retention and provide prolonged comfort.
