Overview
**Blink Triple Care** is an over-the-counter lipid-containing lubricating ophthalmic formulation for relief of dry-eye symptoms. The product was investigated as 9618X and was subsequently identified in the published trial as Blink Triple Care. Its labeled drug active ingredient is polyethylene glycol 400, while its formulation also includes sodium hyaluronate and a castor-oil nano-emulsion intended to hydrate and lubricate the ocular surface, stabilize the tear-film lipid layer, retain moisture, and reduce tear evaporation. In a 30-day randomized study in adults with self-reported dry eye, it was noninferior to Blink Tears for improvement in ocular comfort.
