Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**BLMZ** is a 9-month, all-oral combination regimen for rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis comprising **bedaquiline, linezolid, moxifloxacin, and pyrazinamide**. It combines inhibition of mycobacterial ATP synthase, bacterial protein synthesis, DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, and pyrazinamide-mediated antimycobacterial activity after conversion to pyrazinoic acid. Beijing Chest Hospital is evaluating the regimen in the Phase 3 INSPIRE-BLMZ Chinese cohort study in participants aged 12 years and older with rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis.
