Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bloatnil Vet is a veterinary gastrointestinal preparation developed by Navana Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of bloat and tympany in livestock, including cattle, buffalo, sheep, and goats. It is a fixed-dose combination of simethicone, an anti-foaming agent, and dill oil, which possesses carminative properties. Simethicone works by reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles in the rumen, causing them to coalesce into larger bubbles that can be easily expelled. Dill oil helps prevent gas formation in the intestines and aids in its expulsion, providing rapid relief from abdominal distension and discomfort.
