Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BLS-H01 is an oral therapeutic vaccine developed by Bioleaders (now Humax Bio) for the treatment of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infections and associated cervical lesions, including low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSIL) and high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL). The drug utilizes a proprietary MucoMax platform, which employs *Lactobacillus casei* as a bacterial vector to deliver HPV16 E7 antigens to the gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT). This mechanism is designed to induce mucosal and systemic cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) immunity, specifically targeting and eliminating HPV-infected cervical cells. Formulated as an enteric-coated capsule, BLS-H01 offers a non-invasive alternative to surgical interventions like conization for cervical dysplasia.
