Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BlueM Oral Foam is an oxygen-based topical oral care formulation developed by BlueM for the maintenance of oral hygiene and the treatment of periodontal conditions such as gingivitis and dental plaque. The product utilizes a unique mechanism where active oxygen, derived from ingredients like honey, is released in the form of microbubbles. This creates an oxygen-rich environment that is lethal to anaerobic bacteria, which are primarily responsible for gum inflammation and plaque formation. Additionally, the formulation contains xylitol and lactoferrin to support oral health and tissue healing. It is frequently used as a cleanser for dental appliances, including clear aligners and orthodontic braces, to prevent bacterial buildup and promote periodontal health.
