Overview

BMND01 is an investigational, fast-acting liquid formulation of N,N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) developed by Biomind Labs. It is primarily targeted for the treatment of treatment-resistant depression (TRD). The drug functions as a potent agonist of the serotonin 5-HT2A receptor, a mechanism common to classic psychedelics that is believed to facilitate rapid neural plasticity and therapeutic psychological breakthroughs. BMND01 is designed for sublingual administration, aiming to provide a more predictable and shorter-duration psychedelic experience (approximately 10-30 minutes) compared to other psychedelics like psilocybin or LSD. This shorter duration is intended to make the treatment more scalable and easier to integrate into standard clinical psychiatric settings.
