Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BMND06 is a proprietary small molecule drug candidate developed by Biomind Labs. It is a novel pharmaceutical formulation based on the psychedelic molecule mescaline (3,4,5-trimethoxyphenethylamine), designed to target neurological pathways implicated in obesity and other disorders. Mescaline acts primarily as an agonist at the serotonin 5-HT2A receptor. Preclinical studies have shown that BMND06 exhibits significant anti-inflammatory effects—outperforming dexamethasone in reducing LPS-induced IL-6 levels—and demonstrates low acute and chronic oral toxicity with no mutagenic effects. The drug is being advanced for clinical development in obesity and has also been investigated for Parkinson's disease and inflammation[1][2][3][4][5].
