Overview

BMS-813160 + gemcitabine + nab-paclitaxel is an investigational combination therapy studied primarily for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and other advanced solid tumors. **BMS-813160** is a small molecule oral antagonist targeting both C-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CCR2) and type 5 (CCR5), which modulate tumor-associated macrophages and are implicated in the tumor microenvironment. **Gemcitabine** is a nucleoside analog used as standard chemotherapy, and **nab-paclitaxel** (albumin-bound paclitaxel) is a microtubule inhibitor chemotherapeutic. The combination aims to both attack tumor cells directly (via chemotherapy) and modulate the immune microenvironment (via CCR2/CCR5 blockade) to enhance antitumor immunity. This regimen has primarily been evaluated in phase 1/2 trials for patients with borderline resectable or locally advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma[2][1][4].
