Elevated levels of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) have been observed in IPF patients, where LPA contributes to abnormal wound healing and fibrosis. By blocking LPAR1, BMS-986337 may help modulate these pathological processes and offer therapeutic benefit for IPF patients.
