BMS-986414 (also known as C135-LS) is a recombinant, fully human monoclonal antibody of the IgG1κ isotype developed for the treatment of COVID-19. It targets a non-overlapping epitope on the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, neutralizing the virus by preventing its interaction with host cells. The antibody was Fc-modified to extend its half-life in humans. BMS-986414 has been studied primarily in combination with another monoclonal antibody, BMS-986413 (C144-LS), to enhance efficacy and reduce viral escape. Developed through a partnership between Rockefeller University and Bristol Myers Squibb, it was evaluated for subcutaneous administration in outpatient settings for mild-to-moderate COVID-19[2][4].
