BMS-986414 + BMS-986413 is a combination of two fully human monoclonal antibodies developed for the treatment of COVID-19. Both antibodies are recombinant IgG1κ and λ isotypes derived from individuals who recovered from COVID-19. They bind to non-overlapping sites on the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and have been Fc-modified to extend their half-lives in humans. The combination was designed to improve efficacy against multiple variants and reduce resistance by targeting different epitopes on the virus. In clinical trials, subcutaneous administration was safe but did not show significant efficacy in treating mild-to-moderate COVID-19 in outpatients at low risk for progression[1][2][4][6].
