Carboplatin and paclitaxel disrupt DNA replication and microtubule function, respectively, leading to direct tumor cytotoxicity. The regimen was pursued in a Phase 1/2 study, but the chemotherapy combination with BMS-986442 and nivolumab was not initiated due to early trial termination for business reasons, and not for safety concerns[1][3][4][5].
