Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BMS-986442 + nivolumab + carboplatin + pemetrexed is an investigational combination therapy for the treatment of certain solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). **BMS-986442** is a bispecific monoclonal antibody targeting both TIGIT and CD96, designed to enhance immune response against tumors through dual inhibition in the CD226 pathway. It features an Fc-enhanced region to improve Fcγ receptor interactions, thereby further priming T cells and activating antigen-presenting cells. **Nivolumab** is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits PD-1, a checkpoint protein on immune cells, enabling the immune system to better attack cancer cells. **Carboplatin** and **pemetrexed** are chemotherapeutic agents used for cytotoxic killing of tumor cells. This combination aims to potentiate antitumor immunity and direct cytotoxic action. The lead developer is Bristol Myers Squibb, following an in-licensing from Agenus (the original developer of AGEN1777).
